Domestic Students
You are welcome to apply to another program of interest. We encourage you to contact a Student Advisor to discuss your application to the program. An Advisor can be reached at student.advisors@keyano.ca.
You will be required to apply for the desired program- we do not transfer applications so it is important to keep deadlines for applications in mind. If you are required to upgrade to be admitted to the program of your choice, College Preparation is offered at no additional application fee.
There are three ways:
- Your instructor will give you the course curriculum and the book you need on the first day of class.
- You may visit or call the Library and give your course code. The staff would be able to tell you what kind of book you need. You can find your course name and code by printing your registration
- You can also buy the books online on the Keyano Bookstore webpage and choose the course code. Please note, when ordering books through Online Bookstore, use Firefox as your browser.
No, but you can join a Facebook group that sells used books, Keyano College Books Exchange.
International Students
International students are eligible for 1 (one) deferral per application submission.
Student must be accepted into their program and have paid their admission deposit ($750) and not have already deferred to be eligible. Your application will be deferred to the next available intake upon an email request.
Please note, some programs are competitive entry, this means your application will be deferred however your acceptance may not, you may also be required to submit new documents or interview again. If the next available intake is in the next academic year and not yet open for application, you request will still be processed and your LOA will be provided at a later date.
To request a deferral you will need to email admissions@keyano.ca and indicate you are requesting a deferral. The deadline to defer your application is the same as the tuition and fee due date, please see the Academic Schedule to find this deadline for your intake.
For information on these exemptions, please refer to the most current credit calendar – English Language Proficiency.
