Message from the Dean - Dr. Coert Erasmus

Welcome to Keyano College’s School of Business, University Studies, and Academic Upgrading.

Guided by our vision, Keyano, Educating to change lives, our mission is clearly articulated as part of our Strategic Plan 2022–2025:

In partnership with industry and community, develop a relevant workforce and leaders of tomorrow, in a safe learning environment that embraces equity, diversity, and inclusivity (EDI).

Within our Departments of Business and Office Administration, University Studies, Academic Upgrading and Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC), we offer a variety of programs that would prepare you for your future. We have introduced several competitive programs through consultation with industry and community partners such as Business Aviation and Esports Management. Through our collaborative partnerships with leading Universities and Polytechnics, you can also study and live within our vibrant city, Fort McMurray, while working towards a degree program such as a Bachelors of Business Administration or a Bachelors of Education Generalist program. Through work-integrated learning opportunities, which are part of several programs, we aim to prepare students for the responsibilities they will take on in their future positions.

Keyano College offers students a best-in-class learning experience as students have flexible learning options. These options include traditional face-to-face instruction in our state-of-the-art classrooms, attending classes virtually or through a HyFlex delivery option which provides students with a choice as to how they wish to attend their class on any given day. In addition to providing academic pathways, Keyano College also promotes well-being and healthy living. In promoting arts, we invite you to attend productions at our Theatre or volunteer at the Theatre. We are proud of our Keyano Huskies and invite you to see them in action at our Syncrude Sports and Wellness Centre.
