Teen Weight Trainers
This program introduces youth, ages 13-15, to the foundations of weight training. This includes:- How to train safely and effectively.
- Importance of warming up and benefits of a cool-down.
- Introduction to our machines and free weights.
- Better understanding of movement mechanics
- Education on body composition, muscular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance
Graduates gain confidence and acquire understanding of weight lifting. Teen Weight Trainers is a prerequisite for ages 13-15 to use the Fitness Centre.
