Learn how to teach and foster a community of learners through Keyano College's Education programs. We offer multiple options for completing your Bachelor of Education in collaboration with the University of Alberta. Start building your skills and knowledge as an educator.

Elementary Generalist Degree

You can complete the award-winning Elementary Generalist Degree program entirely from our main campus in Fort McMurray. Upon graduation, you will receive a Bachelor of Education Elementary Degree from the University of Alberta and will be eligible to apply for teacher certification. This credential enables you to teach all grades in the K-12 system. Those with an accredited degree can also apply to the Bachelor of Education After Degree program in year 3 of the 4 year program. 

Secondary Education Degree

Students can complete one to two years of their program at Keyano College and then transfer to the University of Alberta or another institution to complete their Bachelor of Education Secondary Degree.

Bachelor of Education Combined Degree

Learn how you can complete 1-2 years of a five-year Bachelor of Education Combined Degree at the Keyano College campus. Please contact one of our Student Advisors for more information.

Education Assistant Certificate

Learn how you can play a key role in breaking down the barriers of learning through Keyano College's Educational Assistant Certificate program.  Attending school can be a great adventure for many students, but for some it can be a difficult experience. This hands-on program will prepare you to support all students including those with learning challenges and special needs in school environments and community settings.
