Keyano College is thrilled to announce that this year’s 4th Annual Keyano Huskies Golf Tournament, presented by AirCon Technologies, successfully raised $65,000 (net) to support Huskies Athletics. Held on August 23, 2024, at the Fort McMurray Golf Club, the tournament brought together sponsors, golfers, and volunteers for a fun-filled day on the course to foster excellence in student-athlete development at Keyano.

We are deeply grateful for the unwavering support from our sponsors, participants, and volunteers,” said Sandra Efu, interim president and CEO of Keyano College. “The funds raised will directly impact the lives of our student-athletes, helping them succeed both in the classroom and in competition. The commitment shown by our community allows us to continue providing vital opportunities for growth, leadership, and education.

This year’s tournament saw a full field of golfers who enjoyed 18 holes of play, interactive games with Keyano Huskies student-athletes, and a banquet dinner to cap off the day. The event was a resounding success with the continued support of presenting sponsor AirCon Technologies and 26 other generous sponsors.

Jonathan Lambert, director of athletics and recreation at Keyano College, expressed his gratitude: “The Keyano Huskies Golf Tournament plays a crucial role in supporting our athletics program, but more importantly, it strengthens the connection between our student-athletes and the community. The funds raised help our athletes perform on the field and empower them to be ambassadors of Keyano College and leaders in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.

Keyano College would like to extend a special thank you to AirCon Technologies, the Fort McMurray Golf Club, and all the sponsors, participants, and volunteers who contributed to the success of this year’s event. The dedication of everyone involved ensures that our student-athletes have the resources and support they need to thrive, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back for next year’s tournament.
