YOUTH PROGRAMS
Teen Weight Trainers
This program introduces youth (teens), ages 13-15 to the foundations of weight training including machines, free weights and weight room etiquette. Graduates gain confidence and understanding of weight lifting. This is a prerequisite to use the Long Boat Landing Fitness Centre. Teens working out in the fitness centre must keep his/her TWT ID card on hand at all times.

TRX Morning Mayhem
This TRX Morning Mayhem will have you energized for the rest of your day. Using a specially designed piece of functional exercise equipment, you will work your body from head to toe. Get ready to look and feel great, increasing your strength, power and endurance. This class has it all!

Stroller Sculpt
Calling all moms! You're in a unique physical, social and emotional time of your life. You need a workout that respects that. The Stroller Sculpt program is designed specifically for the needs of moms with stroller age children. It can take you from quickly shredding the postpartum weight left from your infant to having a body that can easily keep up with the wildest 3 year-old. You will be able to discuss with other moms how their experiences are going...and did we mention you'll look great doing it? *Must bring own stroller to class*

Fit and Flexible Fusion
Make your morning workout effective and efficient. This class allows you to work hard for half the class, and then slow your heart rate down with some yoga and core. Your body will be begging to come back!

Interval Insanity
Interval training is a great way to get fit for all fitness levels. With intervals you teach yourself how to challenge yourself. Participants will gain not only results but also confidence in their workouts. This class will take you through intervals that will work your cardio and test your strength. You will feel yourself having more energy and more stamina by the end of the session.

If you want a class that is designed for you to come in and get a great kick-start in your fitness regime, then this is for you. During the sessions you will combine core, plyometrics, endurance, cardio, power and flexibility training to unleash your journey to help you reach your fitness goals.

Executive Express
Your boss will approve of this 40-minute lunchtime regimen that has you back at your desk in under an hour. These sessions provide a full body workout including cardio, strength, and stretching. You will feel refreshed and ready to take on the rest of your day after this great workout!

This strength and muscular endurance class will work toward a more balanced, stronger, taller you. Exercises will be based to improve muscular endurance, strength and balance. There is no cardio component to this class.

Zumba®
Zumba® fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program that will blow you away. The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavour and some international zest and you’ve got Zumba! Please note that some instructors do use different styles of music. If you ever wondered how boxers get into great shape, this class will show you how. This class is a total body workout that involves NO PUNCHING AND NO CONTACT WITH OTHERS. Armed with Wave Masters and Pads, you'll be taken on a series of intense punching drills guaranteed to tone up those arms and shoulders. If you think it's all upper body- think again. Our instructors will target those legs and abs throughout the hour long, 1000 calorie-an-hour burning training session to ensure an over-all body work-out that's second to none!
