Project Management

Program Description

Keyano College, in partnership with Grant MacEwan University, is pleased to offer a new Project Management Certificate in Fort McMurray. Grant MacEwan University is a registered education provider with the Project Management Institute (PMI), offering education and training aligned with the PMI Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMI PMBOK Guide) and its seven knowledge areas.

The Project Management Certificate is comprised of seven modules facilitated by certified Project Management Professionals (PMPs), who will help you develop practical, hands-on strategies that can be immediately applied to managing your projects through their full cycle. The certificate culminates in a one day “Project Integration and Closeout” seminar where you will be given the opportunity to review the skills you have acquired and lessons learned using a project from your workplace.

While not mandatory, it is strongly recommended that the modules be completed in the order in which they are listed. NOTE:  Tuition does not include PMBOK Guide, PMI membership, exam fee, or application fee.  Visit www.pmi.org to find out more about PMI membership, certifications, and application fees. The PMI PMBOK Guide is available at Keyano College Bookstore.
