Program Description
Canadian Language Benchmark Placement Test (CLBPT)
The CLBPT is a streamlined assessment that is an adaptable, efficient means to place adult learners in English as an Additional Language programs. It is a task based assessment, measuring four language skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking, aligned with the Canadian Language Benchmark levels 1-8. Testing dates vary monthly. Enhanced Language Training Placement Assessment (ELTPA)
The ELTPA is an assessment instrument to assess the English language learner with prior proficiency levels higher than 6. This new test provides scores for proficiency levels 6-10. This test is based on work oriented tasks. It is administered and scored by a certified assessor. Please contact continuing@keyano.ca to request an assessment.
