Power Engineering - Computer Managed Learning
The Power Engineering - Computer Managed Learning program is a self-paced, online program where you will have the opportunity to study power engineering to gain your 4th Class or 3rd Class Power Engineering Certification. We offer tutorial assistance through appointments with instructors throughout your time with the program, and all online exams are supervised at Keyano College or proctored off-campus.
Power Engineering 4th Class Comprehensive
Keyano College offers a 21-week 4th Class Power Engineering Comprehensive Certificate program for those looking to gain their 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate.
Power Engineering 3rd Class Coop
The four-month Power Engineering 3rd Class Coop program is an in-class program where you will work toward gaining your 3rd Class Power Engineering Certification. If eligible, you may also qualify for a six-month paid work placement.
Power and Process Technologies Diploma
The Power & Process Technologies Diploma program at Keyano College prepares students for sustainable employment in the oil and gas industry, including preparedness for further education. In addition to fulfilling the theoretical and experiential competency requirements for 4th Class Power Engineering certification, the program focuses on the essential knowledge and skills required for process engineering and sustainable emerging technologies.
Power Lab 200 Hour Course
The Power Lab 200 Hour Course is a program that will help you acquire your 4th Class Power Engineering Certification if you have completed your Part A and B theory courses, but do not have the six-month stream experience needed to become certified. The course is offered as an interactive training lab and covers multiple topics.
Power Lab 40 Hour Course
The Power Lab 40 Hour course is a one week program that will credit you with 40 of 200 hours required in the Power Lab 200 Hour Course. It is provided to students unable to commit to the full five weeks. This course is broken into week 1, week 2, week 3, week 4 and week 5 and is required to complete over 12 months.
Admission requirements
Acceptance requirements into Power Lab 40 Hour Course Week 1 are the same as entrance into the Power Lab 200 hour course.
Acceptance requirements into Power Lab 40 Hour Course Week 2 require Power Lab 40 Hour Course Week 1 completion.

This course is recommended for individuals who are considering enrolling in any of the Power Engineering programs (Coop or CML). The course will cover the foundational math concepts necessary to support success in these program areas. It is suggested students have successfully completed either Math 20-1 or Math 20-2 prior to taking this course.
