One on One Banquet sold out

It took all of 48 hours.  The Keyano College Foundation has declared that all the tables for the inaugural One on One Banquet have been sold.




Announced on January 30th as a fundraising event in support of the Huskies Athletics Endowment, the One on One Banquet, presented by The Quality Group of Companies, will mark the first visit to Fort McMurray by the former NHL great who holds more records than any other player.

“While I knew this would be a successful sales campaign, the overwhelming response we received from the community is staggering,” said Shawn Chaulk, Chair of the organizing committee and owner of the largest collection of Wayne Gretzky memorabilia in the world, a collection that will be on display during the event.

“I must thank the business community of Wood Buffalo for getting behind this event and for their continued unparalleled support of the College and its athletics programs.”

The One on One Banquet is scheduled for May 11 in the Syncrude Sport & Wellness Centre at Keyano College with 550 guests expected.
