Let Keyano be your Bridge to Employment
It’s a job fair with a twist and Keyano’s Corporate Training will host it on Thursday, July 19. Alanna Bottrell, Marketing Coordinator, Continuing Education & Corporate Training, Keyano College describes the event well.
“It’s a job fair in an untraditional sense.” she said.
“Through the Bridge to Employment program, we have connections with oil sands companies. We have a job bank so when we pre-screen candidates, we’re able to match them up with positions that suit their experience and background. When guests come to this event, there won’t be booths with multiple companies set-up. Rather, the Bridge to Employment team represents many well-known, local businesses. It’s one-stop job shopping at its best. We ask that people go to the Keyano website to look at the types of positions that we are going to be screening for – we’re looking for a pretty specific skill-set,” Bottrell added.
The free event will run in Room BL140 in the Bob Lamb Building from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. The positions we are screening for include:
Civil Engineer
Structural Engineer
Administration Support
Intermediate/Junior Civil Structural Reliability Engineer
Business Process Analyst
Contractor Transaction Analyst
Document Management Control Coordinator
Control Instrumentation Engineer
Reliability Mechanical Engineer
Reliability Mechanical HVAC Junior/Intermediate Engineer
Reliability Mechanical Engineer Specialist Overhead Cranes
