New Library Website

Welcome to the new Library website!

The Keyano College Library is pleased to provide many of its resources electronically and at your fingertips. You can now easily navigate through the NEOS catalogue and our online resources, databases, and research guides. The Library website includes information about Library and Information Commons hours, resources, and services, including how to print, scan, and save your documents.

The catalogue links directly to electronic materials, allowing you to open these resources in an ereader format from your own computer, anywhere you have internet access. The NEOS system is a collaboration with other academic libraries that provides you with a larger availability of materials to meet your research and leisure needs. If the Keyano Library does not have an item you are looking for, you can place holds on titles from other libraries and have them shipped directly to Keyano for pick up.

Another new feature is the WorldCat search bar on the website’s main page; you can now search Keyano College Library and beyond! Limit your search to materials from all over the world, from within the NEOS consortium, from only the Keyano Library, or even from the Fort McMurray Public Library’s resources.

The Library subscribes to over 50 databases, which house scholarly journals, videos, statistics, art, and more about a variety of subjects. Our extensive list of databases has been sorted alphabetically and by subject, allowing you to find the best databases for your topic and quickly obtain primary and secondary sources for research.

Our research guides are now found within the ‘Find’ tab of the homepage. Clicking ‘Find by Subject’ provides a directory of areas of study, with individualized listings of recommended websites, journals, books, and articles. Links to new books in our Collection from each subject area will also be added frequently in this section of the website.

We hope you will find this new site easy to navigate and helpful for all your future projects. And don’t forget to email us! Help us make your College career better by providing us with any comments, suggestions, or questions you might have.
