Keyano College Security Services is dedicated to making Keyano College a safe and enjoyable environment for all students, staff and the general public to enjoy. We provide 24/7 services to all Keyano properties, including off campus residences at Reidel and Penhorwood. Some of our services include, general patrols, complaint investigation, general information, emergency first aid, Lost and Found and parking control.

SAFEWALK Program

The "Safewalk" Program has been implemented for the safety of all students and staff. Security officers will escort students and staff to their vehicles in the evenings, so everyone feels safe. Call Security Services at 780-791-4911 to request a Safewalk.

Emergency/Help Phones

Emergency/Help phones have been installed throughout Keyano College. These red phones are direct lines to Security. Should you have an emergency or just need assistance, pick up one of these phones and you will be in immediate contact with a security officer.
 

Campus Crimestoppers

Keyano College Security Services works hard to provide you with a safe environment. To accomplish this we require your assistance. If you have information about any crime taking place at Keyano College, call Security Services at 780-791-4911. Your call can be anonymous.
        
Lost & Found        

Security Services maintains the campus lost and found. We encourage you to report any lost item to security as there is a good chance it will show up there. Likewise any item you find should be turned into Security Services.

First Aid

The Security Department is responsible for the First Aid around Keyano when the College Nurse is off site. When the College Nurse is unavailable, Security is responsible for addressing emergencies and other First Aid problems. Security staff also transport Staff/Students to the Northern Lights Regional Hospital for minor injuries when necessary. Each department within the College has a First Aid Kit and a trained First Aid Staff member. All Security Officers are First Aid/CPR trained.
