Description: Keyano College is currently seeking 3 experienced and enthusiastic individuals for three Heavy Equipment Technician Instructor positions in the Trades and Heavy Industrial Training Division. Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be required to instruct, evaluate and develop students in all aspects of the Advanced S Level courses and Heavy Equipment Technician program curriculum. Duties will include program development, theoretical classroom delivery and practical shop applications. Maintenance of course outlines, student documentation and records as well as other related duties are also required. Qualifications:
An Alberta Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification with an interprovincial Red Seal is required. As well, a minimum five years post journeyperson experience is required, preferably in both off road and highway equipment. Advanced knowledge in hydraulics, electrical or fuel injection would be considered an asset. Previous experience in an adult education setting or training experience is desired but not required. Adult education diploma would be considered an asset. Remuneration:
