Convocation

Keyano College celebrates student success! Our annual convocation is one of our most important events of the year. Our entire College comes together to create a great experience for our graduates. Lights, cameras, live music, a commemorative slideshow, and webcasting are just a few of the elements of our convocation ceremony. Graduation is the successful completion of a program of study.

Convocation is the formal ceremony recognizing graduates.

Students who have completed all program requirements by June 30, 2011 must submit an Application for Graduation to the Office of the Registrar by March 11, 2011 to obtain a certificate or diploma in their program. The Office of the Registrar will process the Application for Graduation to ensure the student has met all of their program requirements.  Graduates are notified by mail of their eligibilty and invited to attend the Convocation ceremony, along with indtructions regarding gowns and guests.  In order to attend the Convocation ceremony, students must register their attendance with the Students' Association.

Parchments will only be issued once the Office of the Registrar has received an Application for Graduation and checked all the student’s requirements. Parchments will be mailed to the student’s permanent address. Students are also entitled to receive one free official transcript upon program completion, which they can request from the Office of the Registrar.

NOTE: Application for Graduation forms are not held over for the following academic year (July 1 - June 30). Therefore, those students who do not meet their credential requirements must reapply to graduate the following year.
