Description:
The mechanics are responsible for the maintenance and repair of Company mobile equipment (Scrap Metal handlers, forklifts and trucks).
Responsibilities:
Duties include the ability to safely diagnose equipment problems, disassemble and reassemble components such as engines, transmissions, cooling systems, fuel and exhaust systems, clutch and differential by using all appropriate tools and following OEM and company procedures.
The incumbents will also be responsible for ordering the necessary materials and parts that will be required to complete repairs.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate is Alberta Journeyman certified or has an Interprovincial Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic ticket.
Salary:
This is permanent full-time employment located in Edmonton, Alberta. It includes health benefits, pension plan, shift differentials, and income sharing.
