French Level 1 & Level 2 Contract Instructor

This is a part time position with 30 hours per level and runs during the evenings. We are looking for someone who is bilingual in French and English languages and also has a background in Adult education. The course will help students with communication skills and will learn how French is structured through understanding of grammatical concepts. Conversation, vocabulary, reading and writing will be the 4 areas of focus in basic French skills. French Level 2 course will follow the same format but going more in depth and build upon previous skills learned in Level 1. Rate of compensation will be based on education and experience.

GED Exam Preparations course

This course is 60 hours of preparation for the GED exam (General Educational Development Test) and is scheduled twice a week in the evenings. We are looking for someone with adult education experience in the 5 areas of: Language Arts Reading, Language Arts Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies. The successful instructor will be able to prepare students for all 5 areas of the exam and be able to walk through all concepts and examples. This course is designed for people with a minimum of grade 10 education and would like to brush up on their skills for the GED exam. People with a background in Education will be given first consideration and knowledge about the GED exam is considered an asset. Rate of compensation will be based on education and experience.
