Alberta Association of Colleges and Technical Institutes
Since 2002 AACTI has been an advocate for 17 publicly-funded post secondary institutions in Alberta. In addition to providing a forum to advance their collective messages, AACTI has also been a catalyst both for the adoption of system-wide operating efficiencies and for the pursuit of new initiatives tailored to strengthen AACTI members' relationship with industry, community-based NGO's, and government. Alberta Rural Development Network
The Alberta Rural Development Network (ARDN) is a not-for-profit partnership of Alberta’s 21 public colleges, universities, and technical institutes, including Keyano College. ARDN members work together to support and enhance the well-being of individuals and the vibrancy of communities. It draws on the strengths of rural communities, post-secondary institutions, and community-based organizations to assist in the development of rural Alberta through education, research, collaboration, and networking. The organization assists with the creation of community-driven projects, provides opportunities to create new partnerships, share and supports applied research projects, and works with rural communities to identify and address gaps in education training. Visit www.ardn.ca for more information.
eCampusAlberta
eCampusAlberta is a consortium of 16 Alberta post-secondary institutions, which was established in 2002 to facilitate greater access to high quality online learning opportunities.
The organization enables students from across the province to register in more than 700 online courses and 60 provincially accredited online certificate, online diploma and applied degree programs.
eCampusAlberta works to extend the reach of Alberta’s post secondary education system across the province. The provincial Ministry of Advanced Education and Technology has endorsed online education delivery as a critical component of Alberta’s post-secondary system and supports eCampusAlberta in its work with partner colleges and technical institutes to advance this objective.
