Hours of Operation
The SKILL Centre is open for independent study during regular college hours.
Tutors and Exam supervision are available:
- Monday, Tuesday
- 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
- Wednesday, Thursday
- 8:30 am – 9:30 pm
- Friday
- 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
- Saturday
- 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Student Knowledge for Independent Lifelong Learning
The SKILL Centre is a learning space in the Clearwater Campus at Keyano College where students can gather to share ideas, collaborate on projects and get new perspectives on learning from our tutorial staff.
The SKILL Centre, through a variety of delivery methods, provides assistance in skill development to Keyano students and community members (with a focus on grade four to twelve levels) and also provides support and resources for faculty and community users. Assistance is provided by instructors, staff and student tutors, and the A+nywhere Learning computer system and AutoSkill Reading & Math software.
Individuals wishing to improve their mathematics, writing, grammar, study, or other skills, can take advantage of this unique service. The SKILL Centre can be of great assistance to people seeking academic upgrading for a variety of reasons: apprenticeship entrance exams, pre-employment testing, correspondence courses or general interest.
