January 2012
Did you know? The Library has thousands of e-books available! These materials are provided through our subscriptions to databases such as ebrary and Safari. These databases allow you to search for electronic materials that allow you to copy, paste, and print text, highlight and create or view hyperlinks, and save notes and links of a material for later use. Books can be viewed on campus and from home, using your full student number and Library PIN. If you do not know your PIN, please visit the Circulation Desk.
Books can even be downloaded and transferred to your iPad, iPhone, Kindle, Kobo, Nook, or Sony Reader! This loan lasts for fourteen days. A how-to guide for downloading and transferring these files can be found here. You will also need to download Adobe Digital Editions to open these files, available here.
Electronic Resources appear in the NEOS catalogue at the top of the search results, and can be opened directly from the catalogue record. Alternatively, our 'Online Resources' link on the front of the Library webpage houses links to the searchable databases.
